The Tithe Barn is a large stone and half-timbered cottage, sleeping  9 people. It is quite an ancient building, probably built in the 17th century. All rooms are heavily beamed with ancient timbers, many having interesting carpenter's marks and some which clearly came from an even older building.

There are 4 bedrooms, a lounge, a 'snug', log fire, Victorian antique furniture, 2 bathrooms, 2 shower rooms, all with power showers, and a laundry. The Kitchen is tiled, the bedrooms and lounge are carpeted; the bathrooms and dining area have wood laminate floors. There is full oil-fired central heating throughout.

There is WiFi (Wireless Internet) access in the cottage.

Bedrooms: Two twin bedrooms, one with ensuite shower room, the other with a shower room on the same landing. One bedroom has a carved mahogany king-size 4-poster bed and ensuite bathroom; one family bedroom has a king-size bed, a single bed and ensuite bathroom.

The Lounge has comfortable sofas, Colour TV with Freeview, DVD and video players and there is a wood burning stove.

The full-sized oak kitchen/diner in The Tithe Barn seats 10 people comfortably around  a single oak refectory table and has a dishwasher, fridge, fridge-freezer and microwave; there is also a separate laundry with washing machine, tumble drier and drying rails.

Outside are private enclosed gardens, patio with pergola, raised fishpond (with optional cover) and waterfall, garden furniture, fixed barbecue, clothes drier and 6-seater HOT TUB, exclusively for the use of Tithe Barn guests - (adults only). (Sports towels are supplied).

The Tithe Barn is also the perfect satellite accommodation for a group of up to 20 people booking The Farmhouse

PLEASE NOTE:

An  Accidental Damage/extraordinary cleaning Security Deposit of £250.00 per cottage is payable with the balance of your rental for The Tithe Barn or when 2 or more cottages are booked together. This is refundable, less any costs, after 14 days.
