(NB - SATURDAY Changeover Day for Weekly bookings)
Within the grounds of Hidelow House stands a former stone hop kiln, sympathetically converted into two character holiday cottages, one of which is The Hop Pocket. The other is The Drying House.
Whilst retaining all the features of this beautiful building, The Hop Pocket provides every modern convenience you would expect to find in a 5 Star cottage.
There is WiFi (Wireless Internet) access in the cottage.
Accommodation in The Hop Pocket is for two people. There is full oil-fired central heating and it is carpeted throughout. It consists of a large entrance hall with stairs leading up to the kitchen / dining room / lounge on the first floor, enabling the visitor to enjoy uninterrupted views over the ever-changing rural landscape.
This room is very spacious and has a spectacular heavily beamed vaulted ceiling and a wood-burning stove. There are 2 comfortable sofas, dining table and 4 chairs, colour television with integral Radio and Playstation socket, Freeview and DVD/CD and video players. The kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge-freezer etc. There are free laundry facilities on site. |
