News Green Issues - We aim to meet the challenges of Carbon Offsetting in as many ways as are practicable and in October 2007 are to be inspected by The Green Tourism Business Scheme. We ask all our guests to help us in this, please. In 2008 we plan to introduce a voluntary Carbon Footprint option in our rental payment requests and all guests will have the opportunity to contribute. Your comments on this will be very welcome.....................................We are now Fully Licensed !! and Stuart has a Personal Licence. Our shop is now able to offer our guests the wonderful range of locally produced wines, beers and ciders. You must sample them - they really are amazing!....................................We have been chosen yet again by the Dept. for Work and Pensions as an establishment demonstrating It is mooted that Anne McGuire, Minister for Disability who is heading up the 'Adjusting for Better Business' Survey will be making a ministerial visit to us in the near future. (Pauline gave an interview to the BBC recently when Anne McGuire was unavailable - 'I nearly died, but couldn't decide which was the greater reason - whether from fear or from giggling' - Pauline) Forthcoming Events |
