The Farmhouse

Fully accessible ground floor and wet-rooms for up to 4 wheelchair users WiFi (Wireless Internet) access in the cottage Can be hired in conjunction with one or more other cottages: The Tithe Barn for groups of 12 - 20 people or The Drying House for groups of 12 - 16 people or Ensuite Bed-only on a daily rental basis for groups of 16 - 20 people

Upstairs - are 4 ensuite Bedrooms, all with hand-made furnishings, mahogany furniture and posture-sprung Slumberland beds; 2 have carved 4-poster beds and ensuite bathrooms with bath and separate thermostatically controlled showers. 2 have Super-king beds (or optional Twin beds) and ensuite bathrooms with bath and thermostatically controlled shower over the bath.

There are oil-fired central heating radiators throughout the first floor.

Downstairs - The ground floor is stone with scatter rugs and zoned under-floor heating. 

The Farmhouse Kitchen has a full range of ash kitchen units with granite worktops, a stainless steel cooker range, American fridge-freezer and integral washer-drier and dishwasher.

When 2 cottages including The Farmhouse are booked together and the total number of guests is greater than 12, we will open a 2nd kitchen for your use, thus doubling your storage space and appliances. For this there will be an additional charge of £50 to cover extra cleaning and running costs.

The Lounge has hand-built sofas, plasma-screen TV and DVD/CD player and Swedish woodburning stove.

The Dining Room is a stunning oak-framed, glass-walled room overlooking the garden and surrounding  countryside. It seats up to 20 people around a single solid oak table and has direct access onto the patio and gardens.

2 Twin Bedrooms downstairs are both fully wheelchair accessible, each with Slumberland beds and ensuite wet-/shower room with thermostatically controlled shower.

There is a Cloakroom with toilet and washbasin downstairs.

Outside - the entire Farmhouse Gardens are accessible via a ramp and laid to lawn and shrubs. There is a huge patio with tables, chairs, BBQ and a Hot Tub seating 6 people, for the exclusive use of Farmhouse guests - (adults only). Sports towels are supplied.

The approach to the front door from outside is level, without steps or ramps;  you can stop at the front door to load and unload onto a solid pathway and then park on the gravel by the cottage.
